Fabien is currently in charge of leading the evolution of the Procurement Function in line with company’s Ambition 2015 strategic plan. Through a series of work streams, he is responsible for setting up the conditions of refined dialogues and agendas with Top Management, Executive Committee, local CPOs and teams, and for influencing change in a context of strong corporate transformation driven by markets and shareholders’ requirements. In addition to this role, Fabien is also Director of Indirect Purchasing (high-value services). He is responsible for 600M€+ yearly spending of strategic value (consulting services, recruitment, advertising, communication, marketing studies, web, insurance, training, etc.) and works in close relationship upward with key internal clients (Executive Committee Representatives and their Directors), downward with users and suppliers, and transversally with purchasing teams. 2009 and 2010 savings achieved: 19%. 2011 (to date): 15%
Fabien joined Groupe La Poste from EDF Group, where he was Director of the OPTEIS (OPTimization of External IT Spend) Programme. The initiative has been one of the major performance transformation drivers in the context of the IPO preparation. Spend baseline: €1.1b of yearly spending. Leading a team of around 50; reporting to Group CFO. Savings achieved above 20 %.
Prior to that, he worked for A.T. Kearney for 3 years and and Groupe ABC, a McKinsey spin-off.
Fabien holds an MBA from INSEAD.
